Trump Intervenes on Elephant Trophy Hunting Issue!

On Friday evening Trump announced that the decision for elephant trophy hunting has been put on hold. This issue showed some discomfort with the public concerning the importation of elephant and lion trophies from Zimbabwe and Zambia. Big time animal advocates like Ellen and Ricky Gervais made sure their opinion was voiced but so did two of Trump’s biggest supporters during his campaign.

Hopefully after consulting with Interior Secretary Zinke the president will have the department to strictly ban the imports of sport hunted elephants and lions. To read more on this issue click here!

Hammy the Canadian Deer!

This deer was nicknamed “Hammy” after he got his antlers stuck in a hammock. The police cut him lose back in August but he got away before they could untangle the rest of the hammock. This deer has become quite the celebrity in the town of Prince Rupert, British Columbia. To read more on Hammy and his story, click here!
