15-foot, 2,000-Pound Great White Shark Pings off the Coast of Florida!

Earlier in February a Great White Shark pinged about 100 miles away from Panama City Beach. Researchers said they usually don’t get great white pings this far from the Gulf of Mexico. This particular shark was tagged in Nova Scotia in September of last year. The shark has since them traveled about 2,700 miles.

Unama’ki is one of the 11 great white sharks that OCEARCH is currently tracking. Three other sharks being tracked measure over 12-feet and weigh more than 1,000 pounds: Helena, Jefferson and Vimy.

After a Year in Space, Christina Koch Reunited with her Dog!

In Houston after coming home from being in space nearly a year, Christina was reunited with her dog.

NASA’s newest record-setting astronaut returned to Earth last week from the International Space Station and said she has been readjusting well to gravity after nearly 11 months in space.

Her 328-day mission was the longest ever by a woman.
