Rare Successful Release of Great Shearwater!

At the beginning of August a Great Shearwater was released off a boat in the Atlantic Ocean for the first time in 5 years. These birds are rarely seen on land because they inhabit a small stretch of the Atlantic. When they are seen in clinics they are often very ill as storms have given them quite the beating. This bird was stranded on a cruise ship after likely being torn from it regular migratory pattern. Click here to read more!

Mountain Lions Spotted on Colorado Porch!

Imagine waking up early in the morning for your usual run and finding 4 mountain lions on your porch! This is exactly what a Colorado man came to find one early morning. He kept his distance by staying inside but managed to record the interaction on his cell phone! Click here to watch the video.

Wonderland of Cruelty! 

Last week we talked about Alex the cat being rescue from the carnival of cruelty and this week we wanted to show you a video of all the other animals that were rescued from that same place!!!

The Humane Society of the United States rescued over 80 animals suffering from an alleged cruelty situation in Mississippi. Our Animal Rescue Team found animals in rusty cages, dark rooms and in need of immediate veterinary care- a stark contrast to the near-pristine, carnivalesque atmosphere of the property.
